WEEK 5

During this week there were many new things to me. Creating a rubric, I consider rubric is important because make assessing student work quick and efficient, and they may help teachers justify to other people the grades and chore that they assign to students. The rubric I created is for intermediate students, it helps with their readings and listening skills. You can find it at http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php?screen=ShowRubric&rubric_id=1928032&.

Project Based Learning and Web quests were very interesting. After reading some of the articles that Deborah recommends to us, I think that if we give our students good Webquest, they will able to complete a task with considerable more independence. Furthermore, project-based learning with technology (including WebQuests) could change the teacher-student relationship in the class because the teacher becomes a facilitator so, teachers and students must not be limited by classroom walls that separate them from a world of knowledge.

Week 4

During this week I have learn a lot of new knowledge that will help me to improve my English teaching skills.
I had a lot of fun planning my lesson as I really enjoy the topic I chose. However, it was not easy, first because my specialty is not English language, second because is the first time I this kind of lesson planning, third because my internet connection usually don’t work well.
The most I like this week was about the tasks. I really enjoyed reading the articles on writing, reading and vocabulary. I got very good ideas from them, which I will put into practice. I consider that a very important thing is to apply new techniques with our students in order to improve their English level specially, listening reading and speaking skills.
The websites Deborah suggested for this week were very interested and I managed to find a few pages I can use with my students, though the topics addressed do not always seem to meet my classes.Finally I would like to thanks Deborah and all my coursemates to be part of this course, because there is a lot of knowledge waiting for me and my students.

Dear Deborah and coursemates,

I'm sorry because I wasn't post in my blog before, because I had problems with it. But fourtunately I solve te problem and now and can post, so please visit my blog.

What a wonderful tool is "Delicious.com". I have never used delicious before, but this tool is very useful. First I was confused because it required to register with yahoo account. At first I didn't register, but I just typed my yahoo username and password.
