During this week I have learn a lot of new knowledge that will help me to improve my English teaching skills.
I had a lot of fun planning my lesson as I really enjoy the topic I chose. However, it was not easy, first because my specialty is not English language, second because is the first time I this kind of lesson planning, third because my internet connection usually don’t work well.
The most I like this week was about the tasks. I really enjoyed reading the articles on writing, reading and vocabulary. I got very good ideas from them, which I will put into practice. I consider that a very important thing is to apply new techniques with our students in order to improve their English level specially, listening reading and speaking skills.
The websites Deborah suggested for this week were very interested and I managed to find a few pages I can use with my students, though the topics addressed do not always seem to meet my classes.Finally I would like to thanks Deborah and all my coursemates to be part of this course, because there is a lot of knowledge waiting for me and my students.

ReplyDeleteIt would take time to be able to design lessons! This is a skill that you can work on…I believe that teachers are not necessarily material designers. We usually get the course books ready for us and we only implement/teach the curriculum/material. Here we are lucky to be trained to create lessons with Deborah's help.
